By Matea Shosho

If you notice mold in your house, you might be in danger. Make sure to call a professional remover since it can be one of the most dangerous things to happen in your property.

You will need to know what kind of mold it is and the exterminator will try to remove it, find the cause and finally you will work together to find a way to prevent it from returning. Mold is one of the major concerns you can have with your property. Not only is it unpleasant to see, but it can be very dangerous for your health.

A mold is a parasite that reproduces through spores. It needs three conditions to grow: a moderate temperature, air moisture and a source of food. Of these the only element you have control over is moisture. This is because molds can use anything as food and can grow easily in the temperature of your house. The growth of mold, can cause both serious damage to your house, and most importantly compromise your health.

The three types of molds that can affect your property are allergenic, pathogenic and toxic. The allergenic type causes problems for sensitive people, and can be recognized because its symptoms are similar to those of hay fever. This type of mold causes a problems breathing, and irritation to any part of the respiratory tract. Pathogenic mold is problematic for people with a weak immune system, because it can become a dangerous infection. Toxic mold produces extremely toxic chemicals that if inhaled can cause severe symptoms, and in certain cases even death.
