TI Fitness Training Provides The Support And Motivation You Need

By S. Mathur

With small class sizes and personal coaching attuned to your fitness level, Total Image Fitness Training aims to give members the support and motivation they need. This can include check ins if they miss workouts.

"We know every client by name and get to know them on a personal level making them feel comfortable and special," owner and certified trainer Christine Lewis said. "We keep our clients accountable by checking in on them when they haven't attended class in a few days. We also have multiple fitness challenges throughout the year to keep them on track."

A variety of fitness classes, from boot camp to barre to Surf and Turf and TI Shred, challenge members at different fitness levels. Boot camp is a circuit workout with cardio, plyometrics and training drills to develop strength, stamina and agility. Body rock improves definition and muscular endurance.

IT Barre is a new offering and is a great way to burn serious fat while toning muscles. Barre classes are not dance classes, however, and are open to all levels of students.

"Muscles are worked to the point of fatigue and then released through stretching movements to create long, lean muscles," Lewis said. "Each group of muscles is targeted and worked intensively, yet safely, then stretched to create a long, lean profile."

TI Tread is a no-nonsense cardio, strength and abdominal workout and TI MetCo is a metabolic conditioning class designed to speed up your metabolism. Surfset workouts use a surfboard and surfing movements to burn fat, build lean muscle and promote balance. Surf and Turf is the ultimate workout, combining elements of Surfset and Boot Camp.

Running programs offer instruction, motivation and support, as well as nutrition basics for runners. There are track and hill workouts, yoga and core strengthening exercises, and training for races, from couch to 5k up to half marathon and relay training. Also for runners, TI Shred is maximal strength training. It's a kind of cross training for runners that improves balance and stability, strengthens weak muscles and reforms your running.

There are also opportunities to participate in local events and members are encouraged to join. TI Fitness Training also offers race management services. The TI studio has a great location and history as well.

"I love our location as we are on the opera block on Hanover Street and in the heart of downtown Manchester across from the Palace Theatre and near multiple wonderful restaurants, cafes and shopping," she said.
