Community, Catering, and Comfort: Belmont Hall and Restaurant

By Elisha Neubauer

Belmont Hall and Restaurant has been waiting on the Manchester, New Hampshire area since its first meal was served in 1932. Since then, Belmont has been providing an extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu as well as offering exceptional catering and a convenient function hall for events held throughout the community. At Belmont, they take their reputation seriously- and after three generations of proven family recipes, they still continue to strive towards their original goal of offering only the best service, facilities, and menu to the residents of the Manchester community.

When you dine at the Belmont Hall and Restaurant, you're getting more than just typical service. The Belmont believes that every eatery should present a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment. Their goal? To make you feel just as welcome as if you're eating breakfast at a family member's home. "We are a family owned business that's been around since 1932 and most of our staff has been here for 10+ years and we know most of the people that walk through our doors," explains Joan Fisher, Manager at the Belmont Hall and Restaurant.

In addition to a friendly, family-like waitstaff, the Belmont Hall and Restaurant sets themselves apart from the sea of available restaurants by utilizing only the freshest ingredients. Fisher tells us that she believes it is why they seem so different from other spots and has a large part to play in their wide-spread popularity. They pride themselves on their ability to provide items such as their made-from-scratch corned beef hash and the ever-popular baked ham, which has earned its own reputation across town.

"We also have a full liquor license, so we have Bloody Marys and Mimosas as well to go with your breakfast," laughs Fisher.

A large draw to the Belmont name is the catering availability. Able to handle a crowd from 30 to 3000 guests, the Belmont has solidified its ability to provide exceptional service and food on or off-site. "It is not us that thinks we are the Best caterer, it is our customers," boasts Fisher. "We bring everything you need with us so you have no worries." When you book the Belmont for your catering needs, they supply heavyweight paperware (with an optional china selection), napkins, utensils, linens and table skirts, stainless steel serving dishes, and more. Whether casual or formal, buffet or sit down, the Belmont is equipped and ready to handle it all.

In addition to catering, Belmont Hall and Restaurant also offers the option to reserve their function hall to meet all of your event needs. The on-site location includes a space capable of hosting one hundred guests, a dance floor, and a full liquor bar.

While the Belmont focuses on breakfast and lunch menus, they do offer dinners on Friday and Saturday, remaining open until eight o'clock in the evening. With menu options such as Homemade Crepes, Eggs Benedict, Chicken Tenders and Seafood, the Belmont Hall and Restaurant has a well rounded, all-inclusive menu suitable for anyone's tastes ? with the service to match. "Here at Belmont Hall, we believe that every great breakfast spot should have a waitstaff that makes you feel warm and welcomed," states Fisher. "Like you were having breakfast at your grandparents house."
