Events Personalized With Custom Design, Décor From Mother-Daughter Team

Family-owned Maine Event Design & Décor is a Dover special-event-lighting-and-decoration company. Owned and operated by mother-daughter duo Robyn and Rachael Allen, the company customizes any event with draping, lighting, backdrops, floral arrangements and more. Robyn, President of Maine Event Design & Décor, said the business covers weddings, corporate events, and bar and bar mitzvahs, to name a few.

"We pride ourselves in creating our client's vision for their celebration and bringing that vision to life," Robyn said. "Maine Event is unique in that we offer a wide variety of mediums to achieve a total transformation of a venue. Other businesses offer lighting or floral, but no other business in northern New England offers the variety of mediums that Maine Event offers."

Everything the Allen duo does is custom for each event. Lighting and décor installations can be designed for barns, ballrooms, homes, outside areas and any other type of venue. When clients first start to work with Maine Event Design & Décor, the initial consultation reviews the event venue, and what style the client is looking for.

"After careful planning and design work with the client, we come to the venue where they will be hosting their event and install lighting, fabric draping, lanterns, floral, props [and more]," Robyn said. "I love the creativity we are able to bring to every event."
